Here's the thing about rough hands and cracked heels — moisturiser alone won't fix them. You need to get the dead skin off first. That's what this scrub does.

Sum N Substance Hand & Foot Scrub uses a dual exfoliation system: walnut shell powder for physical exfoliation, plus 1% Lactic Acid and 1% Glycolic Acid for chemical exfoliation underneath. The physical scrub clears the surface. The acids dissolve the dead cells that scrubbing alone can't reach. Most scrubs do one or the other. This does both.

What's inside and why it matters

Walnut shell powder is the primary physical exfoliant — no plastic microbeads, no synthetic particles. Kaolin clay draws out impurities and excess oil while you scrub. The 1% Lactic Acid and 1% Glycolic Acid (both AHAs) work at a cellular level to break down the bonds between dead skin cells, so they come off cleanly instead of flaking off over the next three days.

The cream base is where it gets interesting. Coconut oil, shea butter, and coco butter prevent the scrub from stripping your skin dry — a common problem with gel-based scrubs. Niacinamide calms any redness from exfoliation. Licorice extract helps even out skin tone on hands that have darkened unevenly from sun exposure. Green tea and witch hazel provide antioxidant and anti-inflammatory support.
